Olympia Farmers Market Crafters

Picture
Until further notice, Olympia Farmers Market Crafters/Artists are not able to sell at the market due to the COVID-19 situation. For many of the crafters, the market is their sole source of income. For those wishing to support these local businesses I have compiled this page to help you connect with some of your favorite market mainstays. Please contact each business directly to inquire about gift certificates, shipping options, and other ways to support them at this time. Thank you!
NOTE to all OFM crafters: please email me if you would like to have your business information listed here.

About: At this point in my career, I am best known for my metal piercing skills. When I first picked up a jeweler's saw, it certainly wasn't love at first sight. But with a pile of broken blades and a few scars on my hands, I have taken that shaky relationship with the saw to a higher place. Early on, I realized that if I could master the jeweler's saw, I would be able to cut out any shape imaginable, and now decades later, I use my piercing skills to cut intricate designs in metal.
Each piece of jewelry I create is a small piece of art meant to be worn.

About: I received a BA in Art with emphasis in Ceramics, from California State University, Sacramento, in 1985. I taught pottery classes in Davis, CA for several years and then moved to Olympia, WA in 1991 to live on family property on the shores of Puget Sound. I taught at the former Olympia Pottery and Art Supply for several years. I have sold my work at the Olympia Farmers Market since 1994.
I'll try to keep my social media pages a little more updated than they have been, with more current work. Picture shown is a variation of what I've been doing lately, but I'm still producing most of the older work you are used to seeing over the last few years.
