Simply stunning Royston Turquoise set in fine silver bezel with a sterling silver band. Stone measures approx 29mm by 16mm. Wide rectangle split shank band has a mountain range with rising crescent moon scene. Raised makers mark stamping on back side of setting. Band is stamped "sterling"
More about this turquoise: Royston Turquoise (my personal favorite!) is mined in the Royston mining district located near Tonopah, Nevada (I often joke it's the only good thing about Tonopah, Nevada...). It has been mined since the early 1900's. Its color range runs from deep sky blue to rich, dark greens with matrix of golden browns.
